BRW

This Basic reading & writing course focuses on the essentials of reading and writing Thai. You’ll learn:

• The Thai alphabet and tones 
• How to form words correctly 
• Key rules for writing clearly and effectively

By the end of the course, you’ll have the confidence to read and write basic Thai with ease.

This fun Basic Thai Language for Children course helps children start speaking Thai with confidence. Through short, playful activities, kids will learn new words, practice clear pronunciation, and use simple sentences again and again until they feel like little Thai-speaking superheroes! 

By the end of this course, children will be able to understand and use basic Thai vocabulary and sentences in everyday conversation. 

LPA

This Language Preparation for Adoption course helps adoptive parents communicate confidently with their child, building emotional connections and a loving, supportive relationship. 

By the end of this course, you will be able to use key phrases and expressions to make everyday interactions easier, more meaningful, and full of connection. 

TI 

No previous language experience is needed. 

This Travel Intensive course focuses on essential vocabulary and phrases for everyday travel situations. You will learn basic word order to construct simple, meaningful sentences. 

By the end of this course, you will be able to communicate confidently in common travel scenarios, making your trips smoother and more enjoyable. 

NR

No previous language experience is needed. 

Create cherished memories with your child that will last a lifetime! This Nursery Rhyme course is perfect for parents who dream of singing nursery rhymes to their little ones in Thai. 

By the end of this course, you will be able to sing several nursery rhymes confidently, bringing joy and music to your child’s world every day. 

 Thai Cooking Class

Mix & Match  (3–4 hours)

Cooking Thai food outside Thailand can be tricky—but it’s also a lot of fun! In this hands-on Thai cooking class, you’ll learn to make authentic Thai dishes using local ingredients. 

By the end of this course, you’ll be confidently cooking your own delicious Thai meals—ready to wow family and friends!

I really enjoyed Mondays lesson. I have been reviewing the slides we went over and they are easy to read and follow. I can't believe we covered so much in such a short space of time! I think my biggest challenge will be pronunciation. I am looking forward to the rest of the lessons! See you next week.

Language: I browsed the Internet to find a Thai language teacher in Auckland region and bumped into her advertisement. She encouraged me to learn Thai language even I was really tried and was about to give up. Her language difficulties's explanation are clear and absolutely comprehensive. I would like to tell that I've improved my Thai for a short time. (It was reconized by many of my Thai friends.)

Nursery Rhymes: Hi Nancy,

I really enjoyed the class, it was so nice to be learning songs to sing to my children.

I did find singing in a group on the zoom call a bit tricky with the lagging sound making it hard to sing together but I’m not sure how you’d avoid this with a zoom call. Otherwise I thought the format & length of the lesson was great.

Cooking: I absolutely loved cooking with Nancy and I can't wait to do it again! Sitting down for lunch was like being back in Thailand eating the most delicious food that you can't quite believe you've been lucky enough to find. And now I know how to make it! We made a beautiful larb, incredibly tasty tamarind prawns, a steamed fish curry (Hor Mok) that was stunning and super addictive sweet Thai roti. I've since made these dishes successfully at home with minimal fuss to great feedback from my friends and family, who genuinely loved them. Nancy's lovely, warm personality puts you at ease and makes it very easy to ask lots of questions, all of which she answers willingly and with lots of enthusiasm. I will certainly be returning to learn more. I'm a huge fan!

Language: Hi Nancy! Having heaps of fun in Thailand! Such an amazing country I love it.

Sorry we didnt get to have one last Thai lesson before I left. I was super busy getting packed and moving out of my flat. My Thai is coming along ok here although I have no time to study with the busy busy programme. We had a Thai Boxing workshop yesterday. It was fun, although Ive left some of the skin off the arches of my feet on their punching bags. And a little skin from my knees on a cliff face at the rock climbing place!I hope everything is going well for you in NZ. I look forward to continuing Thai lessons when Im home. Good wishes, Ele

Language:Thai is not an easy language to develop confidence in, but I must say that Nancy's lessons were the best way into the language I have come across. I had previously studied in Chiang-Mai, under a series of teachers, but I would have to say the experience was rather muddeled and bitty.Thanks Nancy.....William

 I really enjoyed the first class tonight, thank you! I’ve already signed up for the next one. I’m excited about that as my daughter loves the ‘Chang Chang Chang’ song :-)  

 I felt like the lesson went really well. It moved at a good pace and I felt like you supported us really well to learn the song. I liked hearing about the meaning of some of the words as well and thinking about how we can use those in other contexts. I can’t think of anything I would change or do differently!
