Nursery Rhymes: Hi Nancy,

I really enjoyed the class; it was wonderful to be learning songs to sing to my children. I did find singing in a group on the Zoom call a bit tricky with the lagging sound making it hard to sing together, but I’m not sure how you’d avoid this with a Zoom call. Otherwise, I thought the format and length of the lesson were great.

Cooking: I absolutely loved cooking with Nancy in her Thai cooking class, and I can't wait to do it again! Sitting down for lunch felt like being back in Thailand, enjoying the most delicious food that you can't quite believe you've been lucky enough to find. And now I know how to make it! We prepared a beautiful larb, incredibly tasty tamarind prawns, a stunning steamed fish curry (Hor Mok), and super addictive sweet Thai roti. I've since made these dishes successfully at home with minimal fuss, receiving great feedback from my friends and family, who genuinely loved them.

Nancy's lovely, warm personality puts you at ease, making it very easy to ask lots of questions, all of which she answers willingly and with enthusiasm. I'm even inspired to learn the Thai language and consider private lessons in Auckland to deepen my understanding. I will certainly be returning to learn more. I'm a huge fan! Celia

Sorry we didn't get to have one last Thai lesson before I left. I was super busy getting packed and moving out of my flat. My Thai is coming along okay here, although I have no time to study with the busy programme. We had a Thai Boxing workshop yesterday, which was fun, although I've left some skin off the arches of my feet on their punching bags, and a little skin from my knees on a cliff face at the rock climbing place! Language: Thai is not an easy language to develop confidence in, but I must say that Nancy's private lessons in Auckland were the best way to learn the Thai language that I have come across.
